Plungepedia is funded in part by affiliate commissions. This page explains what that means.

What an affiliate link is

Some links on this site go to retailers or manufacturers through a tracked affiliate link. If you click one and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the seller. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or not. Some brands also give us discount codes for readers; using one may also earn us a commission.

Networks and programmes

We participate in affiliate programmes including Awin, Shopify Collabs, brand-run programmes, and the Amazon Associates Programme. As an Amazon Associate, Plungepedia earns from qualifying purchases.

How it affects what we write

It does not decide verdicts. Products are ranked on specifications, price, testing and owner feedback. We list and review products from brands that pay us nothing, and we say so when a product with a commission is not the one to buy. Where we have a direct commercial arrangement with a brand, it is disclosed on the brand page and on any page that carries that brand's code.

Review units

Where a product was provided by a brand for review, on loan or otherwise, the review says so. Brands do not see reviews before publication and cannot change them.
